Medhy Custos, born on the island of Guadeloupe, describes himself as the prince of Zouk. Zouk, which comes originally from the French Antilles Guadeloupe and Martinique, is a style of african, english and french music influences.

His first Album Serial Lover was a huge success in the French Antilles in 2004. At the end of 2006 he released his second album called Medhy Custos and extended his career even further to the french main land. In Februar 2007 the single Elles Demandent reached position 3 in the french charts.

If you never heard Zouk before, give it a try with Medhy Custos, his song Elles Demandent is a great mixture of Zouk and R&B elements.
